Decorate and complete your own clay darbuka drum using traditional techniques and learn to play it. On the final evening, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a vibrant drum circle and public performance that weaves together clay and music to foster cultural connection, collective identity, and community healing. Though hand-made drum bodies will be created in advance, we will explore various ways to make your own.
